Slipstream Servicepack using PEbuilder :

Use this 3-step-method if you just want to create a valid source for PEbuilder.

It is quite simple. You basically only have to copy the content of your Windows setup CD into a folder on your harddrive, put the servicepack-EXE into the same folder and let PEbuilder merge the two. Follow the step-by-step instructions below.

NOTE: the screenshots show older versions of PEbuilder and the reatogo setup. But the method is the same with the current versions.

Step 1

Prepare your source folder

Create a new folder "XPsp2" in the root of your Reatogo setup.
Copy the Servicepack 2 (XPSP2.exe) and the entire content of your XP setup-CD into it.

Follow the instructions below, to integrate both.

When done,

specify the folder  "XPsp2" as your source for PEbuilder.

Step 2

Select the slipstream mode of PEbuilder

Step 3

Point PEbuilder to:

1.) the source

(the folder with the copy of the content of your setup-CD)

2.) the ServicePack-EXE

(in the same folder where the copy of the content of your setup-CD is)

Press OK to start the slipstreaming.
